As the sacred month of Rabiulawal approaches, it offers us a profound opportunity to reflect on the life and enduring legacy of Rasulullah PBUH. This is a time to remember how the Prophet PBUH, with unparalleled wisdom and boundless compassion, embarked on journeys to spread the light of Islam. These were not merely travels; they were profound acts of spiritual diplomacy, through which he conveyed messages of peace, mercy, and mutual understanding, binding together the hearts of diverse communities.
Rasulullah PBUH was far more than a mere messenger of faith; he was a paragon of unity, whose actions transcended cultural and ideological boundaries. His interactions were marked by a deep respect for all humanity, as he nurtured bonds of love and mutual respect. Through his words and deeds, he bridged divisions and fostered a spirit of brotherhood that continues to inspire to this day.
Today, this noble legacy of spiritual diplomacy is carried forward by his descendants, the Sharifs, who uphold the cherished values and traditions of Ahlulbayt. Their tireless efforts to promote peace, understanding, and intercultural dialogue resonate deeply with the timeless teachings of the Prophet ﷺ. Through their work, the enduring message of unity and compassion that Rasulullah PBUH imparted continues to thrive in our contemporary world.
A notable example of this ongoing legacy is found in the actions of Sharif Mohamed El Hassani, a distinguished descendant of Rasulullah PBUH. In 2022, he participated in spiritual diplomacy by delivering a stirring address at the Fez Festival of Sufi Culture. Held at the historic Madrasa Buinaniya in the revered city of Fes, his speech resonated with participants from France, Belgium, and the United States, fostering a shared sense of values and a commitment to mutual respect.
This year, in conjunction with the month of Rabiulawal, Sharif Mohamed El Hassani is scheduled to carry out his spiritual diplomacy in Bangkok, Thailand, beginning on 14th September 2024. With a theme entitled "GAZA, AL AQSA FOREVER", let us come together to support and partake in his educational sessions throughout his stay of over a week in Bangkok.
"Allah does not look at your figures, nor at your attire, but He looks at your hearts and deeds."
— Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Muslim)
